Hezbollah Drone Strike Kills Israeli Enemy Soldier, Wounds Four in Southern Lebanon

The Israeli enemy acknowledged on Sunday that one of its soldiers was killed and four others wounded in an explosive-laden drone attack the previous evening in southern Lebanon, marking a significant blow to its forces near the border.

According to Israeli army radio, the soldier belonged to the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit. The drone detonated on Saturday evening in Zawtar al-Sharqiyah area, a town in southern Lebanon.

In its statement, the Israeli enemy admitted that Hezbollah’s drones now pose a real threat, and that its intensified ground operations have so far failed to prevent the launch of drones toward Israeli settlements in the north.

The Wall Street Journal, citing field evidence, highlighted Hezbollah’s demonstrated skill in using drones against Israeli occupation forces on the Lebanese front, particularly at night. The newspaper noted that videos released by the resistance’s military media confirm significant successes in exploiting Israeli vulnerabilities.

The attack is part of ongoing operations launched by the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, which it says are in response to continued Israeli aggression against Lebanon, especially in the country’s south and east. That aggression has resulted in the martyrdom of thousands of civilians and the injury of many others, according to Lebanese health authorities.
