Resistance Drone Kills Enemy Soldier, Wounds Others in South Lebanon

An Israeli soldier was killed and several others wounded in southern Lebanon on Monday after a drone operated by the Islamic Resistance struck a military position, according to Israeli media acknowledgments.

Hebrew-language media outlets reported that an explosive-laden drone launched from Lebanese territory hit a gathering of occupation soldiers, resulting in one fatality and multiple injuries. The Islamic Resistance claimed responsibility for the attack.

In a related development, the Israeli occupation army announced that 63 officers and soldiers have been wounded during fighting in southern Lebanon over the past four days alone.

According to the Israeli military’s figures, its total losses since the resumption of aggression against Lebanon on March 2nd have risen to 27 dead and 1,243 wounded officers and soldiers. Among the wounded, 72 are listed in serious condition and 139 with moderate injuries.

This latest escalation comes as occupation forces continue their attacks on Lebanese villages and towns through airstrikes, ground incursions, and the targeting of infrastructure – actions that persistently violate the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
