Dozens of Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound on Wednesday morning, under heavy protection from Israeli occupation forces.

The settler groups entered the mosque compound through the Mughrabi Gate and conducted provocative tours and Talmudic rituals near the Dome of the Rock.

In a continued incitement against Al-Aqsa, extremist “Temple Mount” groups published an AI-generated image depicting their plans to transform the eastern courtyard of the holy mosque into a religious school for Jews and settlers.

Violations by extremist settlers continue at Al-Aqsa, including group prayers, singing, dancing, raising the Israeli flag, and taking photos in the western portico.

Meanwhile, the occupation continues to impose severe restrictions on the entry of worshippers to Al-Aqsa through checkpoints, expulsions, and harassment of residents of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) and the occupied territories.

For their part, Palestinian and Jerusalemite calls have been renewed for residents of Jerusalem and the occupied territories to head for and remain at the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The calls and appeals urged Palestinians in Al-Quds, the West Bank, and 67 occupied territories who can reach Al-Quds (Jerusalem) to mobilize and be present in large numbers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, strengthen the spiritual and emotional identity of the mosque in the face of attempts to obliterate its Arab and Islamic features.
