Caretaker Minister of Public, Dr. Hamad Hasan, said Monday that the healthcare situation was critical in all the Lebanese regions amid the coronavirus spread.
“The healthcare condition in Tripoli and nationwide is very critical and requiring utter awareness of citizens,” Dr. Hasan told a news conference held following his visit to the Serail of Tripoli and meeting with Governor of the North, Ramzi Nohra.
“It is the duty of the state to protect the society’s health security,” he said.
Moreover, Dr. Hasan highlighted the necessity of joint efforts by the public and private sectors, to curb the outbreak of the novel disease.
