The prime-minister designate, Saad Hariri, announced that he submitted the cabinet lineup to President Michel Aoun during their meeting with at Baabda Palace on Wednesday.
Hariri pointed out that lineup is composed of 18 professional ministers and that President Aoun promised him to study his proposal, describing the atmosphere of the meeting as positive.
For its part, the presidency press office issued a statement in which it announced President Aoun provided PM-designate Hariri with a complete governmental proposal, adding that the consultations will continue to reach a common government formula.
On October 22, Hariri was designated by Aoun to form the new government after 65 MPs nominated him in the binding parliamentary consultations.
