Hundreds of US weapons boxes were found in the arms depots left behind by the gunmen east of Aleppo, Russian daily Aaszewstaa reported Friday.
The paper said that these weapons worth millions of dollars, the bulk of which is made in the United States.
“The items were delivered to the militants under the title of humanitarian aid,” it added.
During the implementation of the agreement in Aleppo about an exit for the gunmen, the main debate was about the humanitarian aid, where the Syrian government insisted on granting the national army the right to inspect trucks coming into the eastern neighborhoods.
This resulted in a disagreement between the Syrian government and a number of international organizations, which refused to inspect the trucks.
