Palestine again tops the news stories, with a deadly raid in Jenin being reported by Palestinian and Israeli media on Friday.
Israeli occupation forces brutally stormed Jenin early on Friday, killing a Palestinian youth and injuring at least three others.
The morning raid killed 19-year-old Salah Al-Buraiki, as identified by Palestinian Health Ministry. Al-Buraiki suffered a mortal wound in the neck while three others were wounded by live gunshots to their limbs, the ministry added.
The raid prompted fierce clashes between the occupation forces and Jenin Battalion, a resistance group which has been recently confronting Israeli attacks on the West Bank city.
Videos circulated on social media showed heavy gunfire ad explosive devices blown up in the surroundings of Jenin.

The martyrdom of Al-Buraiki raised the number of Palestinian martyrs by Israeli fire in 2022 to 175 (124 in West Bank and 51 in Gaza) including 41 children.
Israeli media reported the deadly raid and the casualties, noting that occupation forces arrested a Palestinian wanted in his twenties.
Palestinian media identified the arrested young man as Baraa Alawneh.
The Times of Israel quoted an occupation border police spokesman as saying that Alawnah was a member of Islamic Jihad resistance group, and “was wanted over suspected involvement” in resistance activities and “committing attacks.”
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli occupation forces closed Salem Crossing, in the northern West Bank — predominantly used by Palestinians in the occupied territories who travel to Jenin and the surrounding area — “until further notice.”
WAFA news agency also reported that IOF raided Rumanah town, northwest of Jenin, and installed checkpoint on its entrances in a way that hindered the movement of its residents.
Cities across Al-Quds and the West Bank witnessed general strike on Thursday in mourning for Udai Al-Tamimi, the Palestinian fighter who staged two operations against Israeli occupation forces and managed to evade a major Israeli manhunt that ended by his martyrdom following a heroic confrontation with IOF near the so-called Israeli settlement of Ma’ale Adumim.
