The Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia’ Al-Sudani hosted on Tuesday the Kurdish leader Nechirvan Barzani, reaffirming rejection of using the Iraqi territories as a launchpad to attack any of the neighboring countries.
The meeting also underscored cooperation to maintain Iraq’s sovereignty and rejection of the repeated violations, stressing the government’s commitment to Constitution as a framework to address the pending hardships between Baghdad and Erbil.
This is the first official visit of the Kurdish president to Baghdad following the inauguration of the new government in October.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) targeted on Monday strongholds of anti-Iran terrorists in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region with missiles and drones.
