Loyalty to Resistance Bloc stressed the necessity for parliamentary elections to take place on their due date, reiterating its fixed position that “favors the complete proportionality with single zone or expanding ones – a formula quite fitting the Constitution.”

The bloc on Thursday convened in the context of its regular weekly meeting under the chairmanship of MP Mohammad Raad.

“Any consensus on an electoral law should respond to the stipulations of the National Pact and the Constitution, in terms of respecting national equity and partnership and boosting coexistence,” said the bloc.
