Hezbollah’s media relations strongly condemned the arrest of Lebanese activist Suha Bishara by the Greek authorities, which resulted in her being prevented from continuing her journey.
In a statement released on Wednesday, Hezbollah expressed firm disapproval, stating that such action was completely unacceptable, unjustified, and in direct contradiction to European laws that are intended to safeguard human rights.
Additionally, Hezbollah emphasized that the detention of Suha Bishara, who had already been released from prison, constitutes an illegal act and is tantamount to submission to the Israeli enemy.
Hezbollah conveyed its salute and solidarity with the resilient activist Bishara, while urging the Lebanese government to fulfil its national and moral obligations towards her.
Concluding its statement, Hezbollah called for appropriate measures and procedures to be taken in response to the Greek authorities’ unacceptable behavior.
