In a new wave of aggression, the Israeli occupation forces have made a series of raids and arrests throughout several areas of the occupied West Bank. The town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, was one of the first to be stormed, along with several adjacent homes. Among the detained was Khaled Talal Sorour, a former Palestinian prisoner.
Meanwhile, Yahya Badr was apprehended in the Jabal Al-Sharif district of Hebron, taken from his own residence.
Clashes also broke out in Kafr Qaddum, situated east of Qalqilya, after the town was targeted by Israeli occupation forces. Nur Shams camp, located in east Tulkarm, was put on alert after the intervention of special occupation forces. Finally, Tuqu’, positioned southeast of Bethlehem, was also subjected to a tense search.
In a separate incident, eight Palestinians from the Sabastiya village in the West Bank were injured after being attacked by the Israeli regime troops on Friday. Zionist soldiers raided the Sabastiya village in the northwest of Nablus on Friday morning, opening fire and throwing tear gas at the civilians in the area. The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that eight Palestinians have been injured and poisoned from inhalation of the tear gas, and the clashes are still ongoing.
A Palestinian data center confirms that 206 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli regime since the beginning of this year, highlighting a significant increase in aggression against the Palestinians under the new far-right cabinet led by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
