Israeli occupation forces have renewed their aggression on the Gaza Strip, marking the 56th consecutive day of the aggression. With the expiration of a temporary humanitarian truce, the Israeli occupation military launched a series of airstrikes early Friday morning.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the sky over Gaza once again became a theater of horrors as Israeli warplanes and reconnaissance aircraft roared overhead. The sounds of explosions echoed through the air as the bombing raids began.
The Ministry of Interior in Gaza confirmed that various areas of the densely populated region were targeted in the assault. Israeli aircraft indiscriminately bombed residential areas, causing mass destruction and claiming numerous lives.

Gaza’s Resistance Confronts Israeli Tanks in Intense Clash
The Palestinian resistance engaged in fierce clashes with Israeli tanks in the Sheikh Radwan area northwest of Gaza. Additionally, clashes erupted in Al-Mughraqa and northern Gaza, coinciding with Israeli airstrikes targeting the northwest region of the Strip.
According to Palestinian media, the resistance forces specifically targeted the occupying Israeli forces stationed at a checkpoint near Netzarim on Salah al-Din Street.
On the other hand, Israeli media, quoting a political source, reported that the Israeli “army” had reentered a state of conflict, as sirens blared in the vicinity of Gaza.
Israeli media advised settlers in the Gaza Strip to seek refuge in fortified locations. Similar safety instructions were given to residents of Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Gush Dan.
Truce in Gaza Comes to Abrupt End
The temporary ceasefire between the Resistance in Gaza and the Israeli occupation entity came to an unexpected end on Friday morning, as the 7:00 am deadline passed without any extension announcement. The truce, which had been brokered by Qatar and Egypt, had been in effect since November 24, initially scheduled for four days, but had been extended twice before.
During the ceasefire, there were seven rounds of indirect negotiations between the Resistance in Gaza and the Israeli entity to exchange prisoners, as stipulated in the truce terms. According to these terms, three Palestinian prisoners were supposed to be released from Israeli prisons in exchange for one Israeli captive held by the Resistance.
The truce was not extended for a third time, leading to a resumption of hostilities by the Israeli occupation military. Israeli media outlets, quoting political sources, confirmed that the state of war had been reintroduced, suggesting a renewed offensive on Gaza.

The citizens in these areas are now living in anticipation of potential attacks and are urged to remain vigilant during this uncertain period.
