Dozens of Palestinians were martyred and injured in Israeli bombings that struck cities such as Gaza, Jabalia, Khan Yunis, and Rafah on the second day of Ramadan. The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) accused ‘Israel’ of blocking the entry of vital medicines and supplies, worsening the already dire situation in Gaza.

In various neighborhoods, including Zaytoun and Saudi, casualties were reported as homes were bombed, leading to deaths and injuries. The violence continued in Khan Yunis, where Hamad Town was targeted, and in Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, confrontation between Palestinian resistance and Israeli occupation forces persisted in Deir al-Balah, accompanied by ongoing artillery shelling. The Commissioner-General of UNRWA, Philippe Lazzarini, condemned Israel for prohibiting critical aid from entering Gaza, including items like artificial respirators and cancer medications.

As the holy month of Ramadan began, residents in northern Gaza faced a severe scarcity of basic necessities due to the war and blockade.
