Hezbollah Media Relations Officer Mohammad Afif stressed on Wednesday that heavy losses have been inflicted upon the Israeli enemy forces who tried to infiltrate into Lebanon but were met with high resistance and ambushes by the Islamic Resistance fighters.
During a press tour in Beirut’s southern suburb, Dahiyeh, Afif assured journalists that Hezbollah’s resistance remains strong and its command and control system is fully intact.
“Our forces are fully prepared to engage with the enemy, and what happened in Maroun Al-Ras, Adaisseh and Mesgav Am was just the beginning,” he told journalists in Dahiyeh.
Afif noted, meanwhile, that the Israeli enemy is imposing strict media blackout on the Zionist casualties, affirming that the number of casualties in today’s battles is very high.
On the other hand, Hezbollah’s Afif emphasized that the structures targeted in Beirut’s Dahiyeh were civilian, rejecting Israeli claims that weapons were stored beneath the buildings.
“We are experiencing a ‘Lebanese Gaza’ once again,” the Hezbollah official stated, describing the bombardment of Al-Sirat TV Channel’s headquarters as an act of “terrorist aggression.”
“Israel is systematically and continuously destroying civilian buildings. This destruction will only strengthen our people’s resolve to support the resistance,” he stated.
Earlier on Wednesday, Hezbollah Military Media announced several operations, including deadly ambushes, against Israeli enemy soldiers across the border and in northern occupied Palestine, stressing that the strikes inflicted heavy losses upon the Israeli enemy, especially forces who were trying to infiltrate into Lebanese territories.
