Member of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance bloc MP Hassan Fadlallah denied accusations made by some media outlets against the Lebanese resistance party regarding weapons smuggling through Beirut Port.
Talking at the Lebanese Parliament on Thursday, MP Fadlallah called on the competent judicial authorities to “take the necessary legal measures against those who spread these lies.”
The Hezbollah lawmaker warned against a scheme to “undermine the foundations upon which Lebanon stands as a country of diversity and partnership.”
He added that these who work on this scheme “do not hesitate to target the unity of State’s institutions.”

Meanwhile, MP Fadlallah said: “We have expressed our readiness for dialogue to find a defense strategy for Lebanon.”
He noted that any meaningful discussions should focus on confronting Israeli attacks and removing Israeli forces from southern Lebanon.
“186 people have been martyred and 400 other have been injured in the Israeli attacks since the November ceasefire came into force. The government’s priority should be to stop these attacks and ensure Israel fully withdraws from the Lebanese territory.”
“We are in constant contact with President (Joseph) Aoun. When he calls for dialogue and sets national foundations for it, we are ready,” he added.
