Joint Operations Command announced that the Syrian air force carried out a series of raids on ISIL posts in Raqqa and Al-Bukamal near the Iraqi border, inflicting heavy losses upon the terrorists.
In a statement, the command said that based on intelligence data, the Syrian warplanes struck major ISIL posts, killing a number of takfiri commanders and would-be suicide bombers.
The Syrian army also carried out special operations against gatherings of the ISIL terrorists on the southern barrens of Deir Ezzor province, killing many of them.
