The Israeli occupation forces continue their war of genocide against the Gaza Strip, resuming it 66 days ago and 594 days after the start of the aggression. This followed Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s reneging on the ceasefire agreement, relying on American political and military support, amid international silence and unprecedented failure from the international community.

Relying on unwavering American political and military support amid a deafening silence from the international community, Israel has resumed its bombardment of the besieged enclave with renewed ferocity.
Dozens of Israeli airstrikes in the past 24 hours alone have claimed the lives of at least 42 Palestinians, including several children, while countless more have been wounded. The situation grows more dire by the day as Israel’s ban on the entry of basic food supplies, in place since early March, paints an increasingly grim picture of widespread hunger and deprivation.
In the northern Gaza Strip, the bodies of 13 martyrs were pulled from the rubble of two homes obliterated by Israeli bombs in Jabalia al-Balad. To the south in Khan Yunis, a family was nearly wiped out when an airstrike killed Ashraf Ismail Khreish, his sons Basil and Ahmed, and Sahar Muhammad Marzouq Khreish.
Elsewhere in Khan Yunis, Tareq Muhammad Hamdan al-Bayouk fell victim to another Israeli attack. No place is safe from the occupation’s onslaught, as evidenced by the two civilians killed on a street in Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood and Majed Mohammed Salman Al-Amour’s death in his hometown of Al-Fakhari.

Even the displaced cannot escape Israel’s wrath, with airstrikes targeting tents sheltering those who have already lost their homes in Asdaa and the Al-Sadaqa camp.
As the death toll mounts, Gaza’s fragile infrastructure and healthcare system, already crippled by Israel’s 15-year blockade, are being pushed to the brink of collapse. Al-Awda Hospital in the north saw its medicine warehouse go up in flames after being targeted by occupation forces, while artillery shells ripped through the third and fourth floors of the hospital’s B building.
The hospital grounds were stormed by Israeli military vehicles firing indiscriminately. Paramedics risk life and limb to aid the wounded, exemplified by Amir Rihan of the Al-Awda Association’s health center in Deir al-Balah, who himself was injured while responding to an attack on a tent housing the displaced.

From Beit Lahia in the north to Qarara in the south, no part of the tiny coastal enclave is being spared. Residential buildings, homes, and civilian structures are being reduced to rubble by the occupation’s bombs and shells.
