A Lebanese citizen and his two sons were martyred on Tuesday morning in an Israeli drone strike on a town near the southern city of Nabatiyeh.
Lebanon’s official National News Agency reported that the drone targeted a civilian vehicle with two missiles on the Nabatieh-Kfar Dajjal road in the Nabatieh district, setting it on fire.
The Public Health Emergency Operations Center at the Ministry of Public Health confirmed that three citizens were martyred in the strike.

Local media identified the Lebanese father as Hajj Haitham Bakri, who worked in currency exchange. He was martyred with his two sons: Mohammad and Abdallah.
Bakri works in currency exchange and his vehicle was targeted as he was heading for his shop in Beirut, according to local media.

The drone strike on Tuesday comes a day after Israeli enemy launched a series of powerful strikes that targeted several areas across south Lebanon, in a new violation of the ceasefire that ended the brutal 66-day Israeli war in late 2024.
