At least 19 Palestinians were martyred across Gaza Strip since dawn on Monday in a series of Israeli airstrikes and shelling, marking a new escalation in the ongoing aggression. Medical sources in Gaza reported that the strikes targeted various areas, including displaced civilians camps, water distribution vehicles, and crowded civilian sites.
Medical sources at Al-Shifa Medical Complex confirmed the deaths of five civilians following Israeli shelling that targeted a group in the Al-Saftawi area in northern Gaza City. A source at Al-Shifa Hospital also reported that three people, including a woman, were killed in shelling near the university college south of the city.

In the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, Al-Ma’moudiya Hospital announced the death of one Palestinian this morning. The bodies of two additional Palestinians were later recovered from Mushtaha Street, five days after it was bombed, bringing the death toll in that specific incident to three.
Further south in Khan Yunis, Marwan al-Hams, director of field hospitals in Gaza, reported that four people were killed in shelling carried out by Apache helicopters near Nasser Hospital. Nasser Medical Complex separately reported the deaths of four other Palestinians in drone strikes targeting areas in the center and east of the city.

In Rafah, two Palestinians were martyred by Israeli occupation forces while waiting for humanitarian aid in the Shakoush area west of the city, a recurring tragic event in recent weeks.
In the central Gaza Strip, an Israeli airstrike on a water distribution tanker in the Nuseirat refugee camp killed one Palestinian and wounded others, according to sources at Al-Awda Hospital.
Additionally, three members of the Al-Dahdouh family were reported killed after being targeted south of Gaza City; their bodies were later recovered from the site.
Adding to the humanitarian crisis, the mayor of Deir al-Balah, Tariq Shaheen, warned of a potential complete halt to basic services throughout the Gaza Strip due to a severe fuel shortage. This scarcity is disrupting water wells, waste collection, and sewage treatment, raising fears of a looming health and environmental disaster.

Dr. Marwan al-Hams, director of field hospitals in Gaza, stated that the occupation is obstructing the entry of essential fuel and medical supplies. He emphasized that health and living conditions in northern Gaza have become “very difficult,” with a near-total absence of medical services and a severe shortage of baby formula.
The Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that Israeli occupation forces have arrested 360 medical personnel since the war began, describing this as a “systematic targeting of the Palestinian health sector.” The ministry urged relevant international bodies to urgently intervene, criminalize the occupation’s practices against detained medical staff, and pressure for their immediate release.

Occupation forces continue extensive bombing and demolition operations in eastern Gaza City, particularly in the Zeitoun and Shuja’iyya neighborhoods. Artillery also targeted the upper floors of the Al-Shawa and Hasri towers in the city center, though no injuries were reported in that specific incident.
These attacks occur within the broader context of what is described as genocide waged against Gaza since October 7, 2023. The Ministry of Health reports that this ongoing conflict has resulted in more than 196,000 deaths and injuries, predominantly children and women, alongside over 11,000 missing persons and a severe famine that has claimed the lives of dozens of children, amidst continued international silence and American support for ‘Israel’.
