President Michel Aoun met at Baabda Palace with Head of the “Loyalty to the Resistance” bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, in the context of the consultations aimed at forming a new government.
President Aoun also met with MPs Ali Hassan Khalil and Mohammad Khawaja from the “Development and Liberation” parliamentary bloc, as well as Najib Mikati, Talal Arslan, Hagop Pakradounian for the same purpose.
On August 31, President Michel Aoun tasked the former ambassador to Germany to form the new government as 90 members of the parliament nominated him during the parliamentary consultations at Baabda Palace.
