General Security Chief Major General Abbas Ibrahim continued on Wednesday his endeavor to bridge the gaps between President Michel Aoun and PM-designate Najib Mikati, visiting both Baabda Palace and Grand Serail to meet with the two leaders.
General Ibrahim has also contacted with several political parties in order to facilitate the formation process, according to Al-Manar sources.
The sources added that optimism is still dominating the government creation file, adding, however, that more time is needed to reach the needed result.
According to Al–Manar report, the structure of the government and the total number of ministers will not be changed. The sources added that the number of ministers who will be changed has become larger.
