The Lebanese House Speaker Nabih Berri indicated that he would call for a parliamentary dialogue to end the presidential vacuum early October unless a surprise happened.
In a press interview published on Monday, Speaker Berri added that he would run the dialogue and that the Deputy Speaker Elias Bou Saab will join him.
Voicing hope that the dialogue is expected to reach a positive outcome, Speaker Berri affirmed keenness on the participation of all the parliamentary blocs in the dialogue.
This stage is critical, and the participation of all the parliamentary blocs is necessary so that the dialogue produces fruitful outcomes, Speaker Berri said.
Let’s wait for the various political forces to finalize their stances in order to act accordingly, Speaker Berri concluded.
