Activists in the Beirut southern suburb, Dahiyeh, lit up on Friday two squares for the occasion of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) birth anniversary.
Video circulated on social media displayed Shuhada Al-Moqawama Square (Resistance Martyrs Square) lit up with a gorgeous decoration sign depicting the word Mohammad.
Another footage showed preparations to install another illumination for the occasion in the nearby Kafaat Square, also in the Dahiyeh.
Muslims across the world observe the birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) between 12 to 17 of Rabi Al-Awwal lunar Hijri month. On the initiative of the founder of the Islamic Revolution late Imam Ruhollah Al-Khomeini, this period of time is called the Unity Week.
