Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei extended his condolences to Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah over demise of the Lebanese leader’s mother.

In a message carried by Iranian media on Monday, Imam Khamenei paid tribute to the deceased mother, Hajjah Om Hasan Nasrallah, for raising the “tireless Sayyed (master) of resistance.”

“To the honored great Fighter, your eminence Hojjat Al-Islam, Hajj Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah, the leader of the resistance in Lebanon, may your blessings continue,

Peace be upon you.

I offer my sincere condolences on the passing of your honored mother. It is enough tribute for the deceased that the leader of the resistance emerged from her honored lap. May Allah’s mercy and satisfaction be upon her, and may His peace and blessings be upon you and your fellow fighters in the great resistance front,” the message read.

Hezbollah declared on Saturday that the mother of Sayyed Nasrallah has passed away. She was laid to rest on Sunday in a mass funeral held in Beirut’s southern suburb (Dahiyeh).

Sayyed Nasrallah is to deliver a speech at 18:30 (Beirut time) on Tuesday in a ceremony at the end of a mourning service held at Sayyed Shuhada Complex in Dahiyeh.
