Israeli newspapers said the Zionist government has been lying over Hezbollah reprisal strike which was carried out on Sunday in the Israeli depth.
Yedioth Ahronoth’s Monday headline on the front page read: “We Strike Lebanon but Exposed in the North,” referring to Hezbollah’s strike in the Israeli northern front.
Moreover, the paper’s Amihai Attali said on Monday: “The celebration is over. The Homefront announced it’s possible to return back to everyday life from Al-Khedira (Hadera) to Gedera (in the center), back to normalize the abandonment of the north, and back to the displacement of tens of thousands of residents without any action plan. People in Israel return back to the overacted silence after injecting lies into the veins over the heavy blow (Hezbollah strike) and deterrence.”
The Israeli journalist wondered: “What about thousands of citizens who live under the nonstop bombardment in the north? What about tens of thousands of citizens who left their homes nearly a year ago?”
“We are back to square one, and this offers no solution. There is no solution for the fact that an entire area in Israel has changed in to deserted area of war, and it gets worse,” Attali added as quoted by Hebrew media.
On the other hand, Haaretz newspaper published a cartoon showing a burning front with warplanes and drones appearing in the sky. The cartoon was entitled: “Back to Normal Life.”
