Global Firepower (GFP) company, concerned with the world armies, mentioned in its reports this month that the Syrian army ranked fourth among the Arab militaries and thirty-sixth internationally.

The terrorist war, backed by US, Saudi and other countries, have failed to weaken the Syrian army that ranked thirty-sixth

According to GFP study which was started in 2016 classified the Arab armies according to the following:

2. Saudi (24th internationally)
3. Algerian (26th internationally)
4. Syrian (36th internationally)
5. UAE
6. Iraq
7. Yemen
8. Jordan
9. Sudan
10. Libya
11. Tunisia
12. Oman
13. Kuwait
14. Bahrain
15. Qatar
16. Lebanon
17. South Sudan
18. Somalia
