Saudi activist Mujtahid revealed that Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef is not satisfied with the Kingdom’s policy towards Qatar, but noted that the latter is “completely paralyzed and can do nothing on this issue.
Mujtahid, who is believed to be a member of or have a well-connected source in the royal family, said on his Twitter account that the Saudi bureau of investigations is receiving instructions regarding relations with Qatar from the Royal Diwan itself, the king’s primary executive office.
On the other hand, the Saudi whistle-blower said there was many Emirs of Al Saud who are “uncomfortable with the boyish decisions on Qatar and worried about its political, security and economic repercussions.”
However, “all of them (Emirs) are just zeros”, Muhtahid said, noting that the figure who is playing a major role in this issue is Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Recently, rumors have been circulated in the Kingdom that Saudi King Salman is to remove Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Nayef and replace him with his son, Bin Salman.
“Bin Salman has noticed from the latest decisions on Qatar that Bin Nayef is weaker than to resist a decree to remove him,” the Saudi activist tweeted, adding that issuing such a decree by the king in the near future can’t be ruled out.
