Saudi authorities have reportedly hired 2000 employees in order to observe its people’s interaction with social media on the current crisis with Qatar.
“Ahdjadid” (New Term) Twitter account reported that Saudi authorities working on observing Saudis on social media in a bid to encourage them to interact in support of Al Saud regime.
The admin of this account introduces himself as an “observer and analyst of change aspects in the Saudi’s new term who is close to decision makers.”
These hired observers are supervised by Saudi Royal Court Adviser Saud Al-Qahtani, “Ahdjadid” tweeted.
The account added that the observers are divides into group and that every group is headed by a specialist who earns 100,000 Saudi Riyal.
The observers recommended the summoning of 600 tweeters, who pledge to support the kingdom’s regime in their tweets, according to “Ahdjadid”.
