A national meeting was held on Tuesday between the head of the supreme political council Saleh Al-Sammad and his deputy Qassem Laboza as well as the two members of the council Sadek Abu Ras and Mahdi Al-Mashat as the conferees approved restoring the security conditions in Sanaa and investigating the recent events without anticipating the conclusions.
The meeting, which was also attended the Secretary General of the General Popular Congress (Led by former present Ali Abdullah Saleh) Aref Al-Zokka Ansarullah spokesman Mohammad Abdol Salam, also stressed the unity and cooperation among the various parties and all their suggestions.
The conferees further highlighted the importance of intensifying the national steadfastness in face of the Saudi-led war on the Yemenis.
Yemen has been since March 2015 under a brutal aggression by Saudi-led coalition. Tens of thousands of Yemenis have been injured and martyred in Saudi-led strikes, with the vast majority of them are civilians.
The coalition has been also imposing a blockade on the impoverished country’s ports and airports as a part of his aggression which is aimed at restoring power to fugitive former president Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi.
The 29-month war has killed more than 10,000 people, wounded 45,000 others, and displaced more than 11 percent of the country’s 26 million people.
