The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Wednesday its daily report in which it announced 1850 new coronavirus cases, 1839 of them for locals and 11 for arrivals, raising total to 75845.
The daily report indicated an unprecedented, sharp increase in the number of coronavirus cases amid governmental attempts to curb the pandemic outbreak by closing the highly-infected towns.
The report added that 14410 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 37887.
According to the report, 12 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 602.
