According to the sources of the Iranian embassy in Beirut, the fuel ships will set off from Tehran towards the Lebanese ports in around two weeks.

The sources added that the Lebanese delegation discussing with the Iranian officials the implementation of the donation has been in Tehran since Saturday.

The discussions with the Iranian , according to the same sources, tackled three main issues: fuel donation, repair of power plants, and construction of new power plants.

It is worth noting that Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah had offered the Lebanese authorities the Iranian donation based on the strategic relation between the Resistance Party and the Islamic Republic.
