According to local sources, a special Israeli force infiltrated the camp and surrounded several homes, leading to armed clashes with resistance fighters. The occupation forces also destroyed the contents of Palestinian homes during the raid.
The Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, confirmed that its mujahideen discovered the Israeli special force and targeted them with heavy bullets and explosive devices, forcing them to take shelter with civilians and use them as human shields.

The Al-Quds Brigades also targeted the occupation forces present in the Gabriel neighborhoods and the reinforcements that arrived at the camp to break the siege of the special force.
Initially, the IOF stormed the city to detain and neutralize targets of the Palestinian Resistance, and it was noted that the IOF arrested Ayham Assafira, Ali Assafira, Mohammed Mutawar, Basil Farah, and Abdullah Zakarna.
This latest incident is a stark reminder of the ongoing violence and oppression faced by Palestinians living under Israeli occupation.
The Al-Quds Brigades vow to continue their resistance and protect the people of Jericho and its camps at all costs.
