Head of Hezbollah’s Resources and Borders File, Nawwaf Al-Moussawi, stressed that the first anniversary of the maritime border demarcation pact consecrates two victories- liberating Lebanon’s Exclusive Economic Zone and lifting the siege which prevents the nation from investing its resources.
In an interview with Al-Akhbar Newspaper, Al-Moussawi pointed out that, during the indirect negotiations brokered by the United States, the Resistance mobilizes dozens of thousands of its fighters in order to engage in an all-out war with the Zionist enemy if the Israeli government rejects acknowledges Lebanon’s rights.
Al-Moussawi affirmed that the Resistance is getting more capable of protecting the national resources, emphasizing that the Lebanese power and sacrifice contributed solely to the achievement, away from any foreign role.
In this regard, Al-Moussawi indicated that Hezbollah has tasked a technical team to follow up all the details of the gas excavation process, adding that the Resistance Party stands by the Lebanese state in face of the foreign interventions which attempt to spoil the achievement.
Hezbollah official noted that some Lebanese figures are ordered by foreign forces to frustrate the Lebanese people and convince them that Lebanon lacks gas and oil resources.
In details, Al-Moussawi said that in few days the positive outcomes of the excavation process will appear, adding that the thorough follow up of the file confirms Blocks 9, 10, 4, 5, and 7 contain huge amounts of gas.
Al-Moussawi also emphasized that Lebanon possesses oil resources at sea and on land.
